Day 1
Depart from your Airport to Cape Town, South Africa:

On arrival at Cape Town International Airport you will be met by a Representative and transferred to your hotel.

Day 2
Cape Peninsula Tour:

After breakfast depart on a full day tour to Cape Point, drive along the Atlantic seaboard, visit Hout Bay and then continue to see Cape Point Nature Reserve before stopping off to see the lovable Penguins at Boulders Beach. Drive through the historic naval village of Simon’s Town. Return to Cape Town to the Hotel.

Day 3
Cape Town City Tour:

Come and enjoy the ultimate ‘Mother City’ experience, designed to orientate and give a full colour insight into the extraordinary magic of Cape Town. You will see icon buildings, snatches of its history, and experiences the uniqueness of the city. We will visit the famous Cable Car to the summit of the legendary Table Mountain (if the weather permit us) and from there, you’ll be able to see to the end of the world, including the City and surroundings layout of this southernmost tip of Africa. Some highlights what we will visit are The Castle , the Company Gardens, both historically fascinating and well conserved. The Parliament Building, City Hall, the Slave Lodge, Malay Quarters and the Bo-Kaap homes are some of the highlights. Lastly we will visit on of Cape Town’s Diamond Cutters- every women’s dream stone……….

Day 4
One Day Safari:

The big five near Cape Town- a mere two hours from the city at The Aquila Private Game Reserve. This is an early morning start on this scenic drive to Aquila where we will have a fully breakfast before setting off on our Game Drive. This is been done in a 4x4 safari vehicle and accompanied by an experienced Game Ranger. With your camera and binoculars at hand we will search for the lions, hippo, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, rhino, ostrich, baboons, warthog, springbok and many more of the Fona and Flora. Lunch will be served in the form of a buffet and afterwards time will be given for leisure around the pool or fire place. We then later return to our coach for the the return trip to our hotel.

Day 5
Cape Town / Calvinia - Country Site

After breakfast we depart for Calvinia-400km. Lunch at a restaurant in Vanrhynsdorp. On our way we will visit the waterfall at Niewoudtsvill, Botanic Garden, Some Khoisan Rock Art and lastly the Oorlogskloof Nature Reserve.
We then booked in at Jo’s Guest House- 3 Star- where we will be entertain with local music and traditional  food for dinner.
Overnight at Jo’s Guesthouse-3 Star

Day 6
Calvinia
After breakfast we headed to Sutherland-known for its brilliant night skies and cold, biting winters, known to be the coldest place in South Africa. The Star Tree, which blossoms in September is found on farms in the region. We will visit the Observatory site that houses ten telescopes, one being the largest telescope in the Southern Africa. This telescope has a hexagonal mirror array 11 metres across. It can record distant stars, galaxies. Other places of interest are the Dutch Reformed Church-built in 1898, in 1901, the town was taken by the British and their graffiti are still legible in the church, Louw Museaum, Salpeterskop- the last active volcano south of the equator. Picnic Lunc. Return to our guest house for dinner.

Day 7
Calvinia
After breakfast we spend the day in and around in Calvinia. Places to visit:- Akkerdam Nature Reserve –short hiking trail, Hantam House, Museum and old historical graves. Lunch and Dinner at the guesthouse prepared by professional chefs.
Overnight at Jo’s Guesthouse-3 Star

Day 8
Calvinia / Cape Town
After breakfast depart for Cape Town. Leisure time for the rest of the day- visit Canal Walk, one of Cape Town’s biggest shopping Mall.

Day 9
DEPART FOR AIRPORT

After breakfast, depart for Cape Town International Airport for your flight home, bringing home with you fond memories and souvenirs of South Africa- not to be found elsewhere in the World.
